Colin Atkinson - BSc, ACA, AACS, is a chartered accountant who also holds a degree in computing. Colin is one of the few Chartered Accountants who has been recognized as an IT Specialist by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Colin founded CA Management Services in 1986, following a career as an Auditor and computer consultant with two of Australia’s major accounting firms and as Company Secretary of a listed mining company. Colin has led CA Management Services to be a leading accounting software support organization with a proven history of successful installations in a wide range of systems. For CA Management to have survived in the IT Industry for 20 years is a testament in itself given how many have come and gone. Colin is the founder of CONSAL – Consulting Alliance which has brought together a very powerful team of consultants with support available across Australia he is a chartered accountant who also holds a degree in computing.

Sue Bullen - B Bus, Post Grad Dip Mngt, MIPA, MACS (Snr), prior to taking up a directorship of CA Management Services, was formerly Assistant Director, Computer Processing in the Australian Taxation Office and a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Computing and Quantitative Studies at Curtin University of Technology:

The directors of CA Management Services founded the business on a principle of support. In their roles, they provide practical and technical support to other team members. It is their belief that their business is in partnership with their own people and clients.

HR & Recruitment Team

Danny S Ramsawmy (HR Manager) - B Comm, Post Grad Dip, MBA(HRM Specialisation),Prince 2 (Project Management) CAHRI is a certified member of the Australian Human Resource Institute with many years of experience in  Recruitment, Human Resources Management and  Project  Management. As part of the leadership group, Danny's  focus is to make the Company a best practice  Employer and lead a team of professionals to assist clients in all aspects of  Recruitment,  Human  Resources  Management,  Information  Technology and  Business  Consulting . Danny has experience working in standalone roles and has demonstrated success in establishing project HR teams to deliver strategic and operational HR and recruitment services successfully.  Throughout the last 14 years working in HR and different business roles, he has  enjoyed helping  clients  in the employment life cycle reach good HR outcomes.  He actively seeks to match these outcomes to the corporate strategic objectives of  his  employers and clients.

Amanda Day - After commencing a Bachelor of  Engineering  I decided on a career change, I wanted to be part of something that I was passionate about. When the opportunity came through the company to step up into a recruitment and HR role, I knew this was defiantly something that I would enjoy and excel in.  I have a proven background in administration, sales, recruitment & HR Management.  The most rewarding part of my job is helping applicants find their ideal position, and then continuing to assist them as they themselves become the client and need assistance in HR & recruitment. I am looking forward to working with more clients in human resource management on top of their recruitment needs.

Business Consulting Team

Jacqui Watson – joined the team at CA Management Services in 1995.  Prior to this, she worked for chartered accountants and held a number of accounting roles within the mining and agricultural industries.  Through this diverse experience Jacqui gained an extensive exposure to computer systems and has since worked closely with hundreds of businesses, giving advice in all aspects of accounting and payroll software.  Understanding that every client’s needs are different, Jacqui believes in working for the client, with the client.  With a ‘can-do’ attitude and a genuine passion for business numbers, Jacqui loves a challenge and is always looking for ways to ensure her clients receive the best solution.  By building strong professional relationships and through open communication, Jacqui strives, not only to help her clients achieve their ever-changing business performance goals, but also to achieve their desired lifestyle outcomes.

John Allanson – BComm (UWA) - and was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for 18 years. John spent 27 years in Professional Practice including a two year stint in National Service where he graduated from the Officer Training Unit in Scheyville, NSW, then served a year as a Statistical Analyst with the Army in the Directorate of Manning. Public accounting experience included several years of audit practice before converting to Taxation and Business Services. After spending some time in Darwin and Adelaide he returned to Perth and soon set up his own practice. For the past 23 years John has been working as a Consultant in the area of computerised accounting and business systems. The last 11 years have been as a member of the CA Management Services team.

Peter Boon - After leaving London University, Peter joined IBM UK as a support engineer. He immigrated to Australia 1982, where, after a short time he joined Solution 6 providing accounting software to the accounting profession. He continued in this with various accounting packages until 2006 when he joined CA Management a customer support consultant for Attaché and Triumph.

Barbara Oversby - BBus – A degree in accounting has afforded Barbara many career opportunities in a variety of industries including insurance, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, retail, joint venture oil exploration and vocational training.  Roles have included:  accountant, bookkeeper, sales manager, IT manager, compliance officer, small business owner and credit controller.

Barbara is currently in the final stages of a Bachelor of Science degree in Internet Software Development.  The skills developed in this field combined with her business experience have afforded opportunities in a variety of roles:  Crystal Report Writer, technical writer, website designer and software consultant.

Her interests lie in assisting small businesses by improving their systems and usage of current technologies.   She draws on a variety of strategies to achieve this including system analysis of current practices, integration of technologies (particularly website technologies) and timely staff training to achieve workflow efficiencies and eliminate user frustrations.

Patrick Ng - BBus - graduating with an Accounting Degree back in 1996, Patrick is the latest consultant to joined CA Management Services. Previously he has worked in various accounting roles over a wide range of industries in a 13 years period. This include a 5 year stint in the Public Practice.

In July 2009 he started a new role in IT and gained 3 years’ worth of invaluable experience in various support responsibilities including project management of Windows7 rollout and MPLS migration. With a strong customer focus attitude, Patrick is aiming to combine his accounting experience with his newly acquired IT knowledge to provide best support for clients.

Matt Steedman (Team Leader) - With over 13 years of IT experience in great variety of roles and companies, Matt has gained invaluable experience working for companies such as Telstra, Marconi, as well as contracting work for many of the top tier mining companies and government departments. As well as working for the large end of town, he has years of experience working with Business owners and Managers in the small to medium business section delivering IT and Digital Signage solutions. As part of heading up the Technical Services section of the business Matt’s focus is on keeping customers happy and informed about all IT related matter.

Our Technical Team share a genuine commitment to improving clients’ businesses.  Defined by technical expertise, professionalism and a down-to-earth approach to serving client needs, our team members are the reason we stand out from the competition. On hand we have Cisco and Microsoft trained consultants, as well as Prince2 trained project management staff.
